RAILWAY TRANSPORT
We have wide experience of working with a vast range of export and import cargoes in the ports of Ukraine and provide a whole range of cargo forwarding and transhipment services in a port.
We forward and tranship cargoes in all ports of Odessa.
The following operations are included in the range of works concerning bulk cargoes forwarding:
Rail transport is characterized by a wide variety of rolling stock, which allows transporting cargo of various dimensions to any distance and use any method of loading.
- Unitized cargo with manual or automatic loading is transported in covered wagons or containers
- Overweight and oversized cargo with overhead loading is transported in open wagons or on flat and transporter wagons
- Bulk cargo is transported in open wagons or by using a specialized rolling stock
- For transporting motor vehicles and other specialized cargo we use specialized application-specific wagons.
- Additional cargo handling operations (stowing, separation, lashing, quantity determination, etc.);
- Issuing shipping documents (acceptance certificates, manifests, cargo-plan, bills of lading, etc.);
- Advantages of rail carriage
- High loading capacity of cars allows transportation of more goods in one unit of the rolling stock. One covered wagon has the loading capacity of 3 motor vehicles.
