Swissport North America announceв that Swissport Fueling Services (SFS) and some of its staff members are among the winners of the annual awards issued by The National Petroleum Management Association (NPMA), for exceptional airport fuelling operations achievements in the USA.

The SFS organisation emerged as the overall winner of the Silver Nozzle Award 2010 for Outstanding Organisational Excellence in Aviation Fuel Support, for its operations at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The Silver Nozzle Award is presented to ‘the most outstanding major airport refuelling operation in the country’.

Three SFS employees from other US airports were the winners in the following categories:

- Station Manager of the Year: Jim Stucky (Chicago Midway International Airport)

- Operations Manager of the Year: Donald Scott (Oakland International Airport)

- Facility Manager of the Year: Robert Carroll, Jr. (Phoenix Sky Arbor International Airport)

The Silver Nozzle Trophy and the other awards were presented to the winners on 11th May during the NPMA Awards Luncheon at the PETRO Expo 2011 in San Antonio, Texas.
