The National Association of Freight & Logistics (NAFL) recently presented the very first recipient of the UAE Freight & Logistics Award for the Young Professional during a press conference at the NAFL headquarters in Dubai, UAE.

The awardee, Niranjan Venkatesh, Assistant Manager for Business Development at Transworld Logistics, stands a chance to compete for the prestigious Young International Freight Forwarder Award (YIFFA), which is organized by FIATA, IATA and TT Club.

“The UAE Freight & Logistics Award for the Young Professional was established to encourage young professionals such as Niranjan to take part in international logistics programs and activites that NAFL advocate,” related Issa Baluch, NAFL president and auhor of Transport Logistics: The Wheel of Commerce.

“Moreover, this award represents our commitment in upholding the association’s vision, which is to become the collective voice of the UAE’s freight forwarding and logistics industries that sets the benchmark for best practices within the region, as well as on the global logistics arena,” Baluch added.
