Hong Kong Polytechnic University（HK PolyU）over 35 students and teachers visited ICCS in the morning on 17th March 2010. The students were all in their 3rd year in Hong Kong PolyU majoring in Logistics & Transportation. They hope to have more practical experience and take a solid foundation before their graduation through the full-set study and on-the-spot investigation of air cargo ground handling service.

The Senior Manager of ICCS Sales & Marketing Department – Mr. Sun Daguang affectionately welcomed the visitors, presented the core business and operating procedures of ICCS in detail and the new humanized slogan – “Cargo handling with a personal touch”. Next, Mr. Sun led the students and teachers to the ramp to visit the concrete import and export operation and to answer various questions with patience.

ICCS was found and started operation in September 2004, currently provides high-level ground handling services for 16 large-scale transnational airlines including UPS, Lufthansa Cargo, Jade Cargo, fedEX, etc. as the only joint-venture airport cargo centre in South China.

The guests of Hong Kong Polytechnic University all complimented the achievements which ICCS made in the past six years and they found Shenzhen Airport had already become not only the portal airport in South China, but also one of the engines to impel the economic development in PRD zone. The students took photos and notes without a break on the ramp. They believed this lively visiting experience has highly enriched their knowledge learnt from books.
