Orlaco Products, a producer of camera and monitor solutions for a wide range of vehicles and vessels, will have a stand at the NUFAM which will open its doors from 14 to 17 April in Karlsruhe, Germany. The local trade fair has international allure and attracts countless visitors from the transport branch. This is the event for Orlaco to present itself.

The premiere of the transport fair in 2009 was a great success with more than twelve thousand visitors and stand holders from seven different countries and is therefore certainly worth repeating. A sound basis for NUFAM 2011.

Growth

After the top year in 2008, the transport sector faced tough years due to the international credit crisis. The market is showing signs of a slow recovery; however the factories are still producing fewer trucks than before. Even so, Orlaco managed to maintain the leading position in the market as a specialist in camera and monitor systems. 2010 was a good year; the highlight being the new factory building to meet the projected growth in production of front view cameras among others. The interest in Orlaco’s cameras is continually increasing in the truck branch, which is why Orlaco continues to grow both nationally and internationally. In 2010 the company realised a 25 to 30 percent growth in camera systems via the truck manufacturers and its network. There is still an increasing trend in the average number of cameras sold per vehicle, even when fewer trucks are being built.

The expectations for 2011 are also positive, which is evident from the camera sales for trucks that still have to be built at the DAF and Scania factories. There is also substantial growth in the production for Volvo, MAN, Mercedes, Iveco and Renault via the after-sales channel. Quality is a key element of Orlaco's success. The ISO-certificate 9001 has been extended. Moreover, Orlaco wants to pursue even higher quality standards and expects to obtain the TS-certificate in the third quarter of 2011, a known standard in the automotive production sector.

Informal

Thousands of visitors from all over the world attended the first NUFAM transport fair in 2009. Grand and international, yet the famous local character and the low-threshold factor are what make the NUFAM a great success and a popular trade fair for visitors from the transport world. The trade fair has been arranged to create an informal atmosphere. The NUFAM is all on one floor, making the stand holders accessible to the visitors.

The NUFAM transport fair will be held from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 April in Karlsruhe, Germany. Orlaco Products will jointly present the camera and monitor systems that have been specially designed for the transport branch together with staff from the German branch. These camera systems meet international legislation and safety standards and also offer the drivers clear views, safety and comfort. Orlaco shall also assume a supportive role for the associated truck manufacturers and importers and their clients.
