FB Chain Ltd, a manufacturer and supplier of leaf chain to the materials handling industry, has announced the appointment of Peter Church as its new managing director.

Peter succeeds Phil Taylor, who is retiring after 25 years at the helm of the Letchworth-based company.

Peter Church is in his second spell with FB Chain having previously worked for the business between 1989 and 1999 before moving on to take up senior positions within PLCs supplying components to manufacturers. He brings a good understanding of UK manufacturing and a wealth of sales and marketing experience to his new role.

"This is an exciting time for FB Chain and I'm relishing the challenge of penetrating further into existing sectors and exploring new markets for our products," Peter Church commented.

Married with two children, Peter Church is a former international roller hockey player and lists sport and other outdoor pursuits among his interests.
