Advance Container Line (ACL), the feeder arm of Singapore-based PIL, has launched a feeder service in the eastern Mediterranean (EMS) at Damietta, Egypt, from May 11.
The service has reportedly deployed a PIL-owned vessel, the 728-TEU Kota Teguh, sailing from South-East Asia to the Mediterranean.
The service will connect Damietta to Beirut, Lattakia and Mersin, allowing transhipments at Damietta with the Asia-Black Sea service operated by CSCL, "K" Line, Yang Ming, PIL and Wan Hai.
