China Shipping (CSCL) and United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) have signed a slot swap deal for Asia-Europe, involving CSCL's AEX7 Service and UASC's AEC2 Service that will cover 500 slots a week.
The AEX7 agreement takes effect with the Shanghai sailing of the CSCL Jupiter on May 21, which will follow the rotation of Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen-Shekou, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian, Port Kelang, Le Havre, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Zeebrugge, Port Kelang and back to Shanghai.
The AEC2 slot swap deal takes effect with the sailing of the Hatta from Qingda on May 20 on the following rotation of Qingdao, Busan, Shanghai, Xiamen, Shenzhen-Yantian, Ho Chi Minh City, Port Kelang, Jeddah, Algeciras, Le Havre, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Port Said, Jeddah, Port Kelang and back to Qingdao, the Shipping Gazette reports.
