Seaspan has taken final delivery of last of eight 8,495-TEU ships on order since May 2007 from Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), its fourth delivery in 2011.

The Cosco Vietnam is on a long-term charter of 12 years extendable by up to three more years by Cosco Container Lines (COSCON) and expands Seaspan's operating fleet to 59 vessels.

The vessel is the 10th of 18 vessels chartered by Seaspan to Cosco. The containership owner-lessor has 10 container vessels on order for delivery in March 2012.
