India and Pakistan to run 2 daily freight trains - 06.05.2011

Officials claimed that Pakistani and Indian railway officials have agreed to operate two more freight trains daily between Wagah and Attari from May 5 in order to give a fillip to trade, Exim News Service reports.

Following talks with a visiting Indian delegation, the Lahore Division Railway Superintendent, Mr Abdul Jabbar, informed scribes that arrangements for additional trains, on its part, was complete.
