Revenue goes higher - 15.09.2010Yang Ming Marine Transport, a leading Taiwanese carrier, has posted half-year earnings of US$84.9 million with a revenue increase of 38 per cent to $1.5 billion, reversing a loss of $217 million year on year.
The company is sanguine about the market prospects and expects the full-year profit to exceed $313 million due to a rebound in cargo volumes and rise in freight rates.
